Gang,
I have been decomissioned for a week or so due to moving to a new
place in Shanghai, and it took a while to get the Internet installed.

I should now be back in action, and take greater part in Qi4j.

The good news is that I have been looking at using Qi4j at my new job,
and the fit is almost perfect. Everything we stand for is present in
this banking environment, although the entire mindset of the
teams/group is 'script oriented', i.e. We need to pick up some data
over here, there, elsewhere, then apply this algorithm on that dataset
and finally return the data set in some format. But when they talk
outside the codebase, the conversation is very much like the DDD
concept of Ubiqutous Language (with some ambiguities though). The
traffic is relatively small, the data volumes are relatively small,
the storage requirements are fairly small, and all that matters are;
Time-to-Market for feature request. Right now, very slow, since so
many pieces in many places need to be changed and that no local
testing is possible.

Now, I only have to convince 3800 people or something, that Qi4j is
needed in my little project. I'll try my best...

That's pretty cool! Let us know if there's anything that can be done to help you in this venture.

regards, Rickard
