I agree. Apache created SimpleBook as a simplified version, which I
think Apache Forrest uses, but even that is very weird, since it ain't
formal at all. Anakia is another one in the same category at Apache,
which is used to generate the main website, Http server projects and
others. Finally, Maven defines the APT format (I think it stands for
"A Plain Text"), which is very Wiki-like, and I think easy to write
with. Just don't like the output generated, so if we could 'strip' the
right bits out easily, then that could be the way to go.
