If it makes sense, is reasonably easy to do, and so on, I could be in favor
of doing it after 1.2 release.
1. Don't have to worry about it, as I do now...
2. GitHub's branch visualization is pretty neat, especially when/if
people start using 3.
3. Can lead to new ways to work, collaborate and move things between
each other. This is not a given and requires change in mentality, but
typically comes more from the long-tail than the core devs.
Good enough for me. So, we switch over after 1.2 then.
