Not sure where the communication failure is. Jackrabbit --> JCR with ReST-ful API Qi4j App --> Connect to Jackrabbit to get hold of resources. If some of these resources are uniform, one might would like to model those as Qi4j Entities. OR access Jackrabbit as a service...
