Gang,
It has bothered me in the past, but now it is becoming an obstacle to
the 1.3 release progress (possibly a bug in Gradle, but I can't work
out a work around).

We have for instance;
    <groupId>org.qi4j.core</groupId>
    <artifactId>qi4j-core-api</artifactId>

primarily for the purpose to allow qi4j jar artifacts to co-exist in
the same directory as other jar files.

It seems to me though, that it is likely that most people are using
Maven style repositories, either because of Maven itself or because
they are using Ivy with Ant.

So, is it Ok to have the jars with a 'simple name' ??

Cheers
