Gang, I feel that gradle commands gets very hairy when doing things like building only library/servlet while skipping tests and javadocs and source artifacts.
I needed something simple and easy to get me going so I replaced myself with a shell script :) You can find details here: http://eskatos.wordpress.com/2011/04/10/gradle-qi4j/ The qi4j-cloner script I attached to the mailing list some time ago is there too. I hope this could be usefull to anyone.
