For information, I revamped the shiro-core and shiro-web libraries to
keep up with Shiro 1.2.x.
Since 1.2 Shiro provide a lot more mecanisms that made a big portion of
our libraries codebase irrelevant I refactored the two to take this into
account and while at it I made it simpler to reuse available Shiro
extensions. Theses are breaking changes so I wanted to have them before
we release 2.0.
I did this in a "README oriented" way so the documentation should
already be in a good state. See http://qi4j.org/library-shiro.html
BTW, back in 2010 we stated that the auth library could be removed in
favor of shiro-* without removing it. Does anybody have an objection today?
