All of these only test file systems, they dont appear to look at the
partition table(s). neither do they do a surface scan afaict. PS: fsck
/dev/hda4 (my Linux partition) just checks the file system. Doing fsck
/dev/hda does appear to study the partition table, but doesnt agree with
SMSQ's way of doing things.

Ah, but how do I do this? My literature doesnt tell me how to boot from (and
stay on) a ramdisk. Perhaps everyone knows how to do it already ;)
