I will do it next friday as soon as I will back home, but let me better specify what I did and where the problem seems to be. First of all I used Linux on my Q40 happily since the beginning, when the Q60 arrived I realized that the same configuration was not able to start on Q60. I have my main HD mounted on a IDE external removable bay, i just swap the drive from Q40 to Q60. My Q60 is equipped with 060LC at 80MHZ (no fpu) with 80MB Ram, all the kernel mentioned here come from Thierry web site at q60linux.free.fr . SMSQE and QDOS classic works perfectly in Q60. After a complete fresh installation using the q40 and having installed the proper kernel for the q60lc i moved the HD from q40 to q60, the system started the 1st time and everything was ok until i tried to start xfree, immediately after this the system crash . From now on the system crash regulary when, according to the fact that was not closed regulary before, the file system during the next boot is checked with e2fscheck (not sure again about the exact name...) . I do not if it is significant, but the video screen is corrupted with the usual colored bars on the screens. Hope this can help, this is all for the moment and sorry for my "italian" english. Ciao.
