depending on what you need http server may be fully sufficient 
to share files across the network. Easy to activate and configure
but read-only.

Samba would work as well, probably take the Q60 as samba server
and get some recent samba*.src.rpm from redhat. I would not
experiment with in-kernel samba solutions at the moment.

For file sharing CVS may work as well, it has a simple server
that allows read/write access. Easy to configure and somewhat 
messy to use.
