For single use emails addresses, its hard to beat mailinator. I use this to
sign up for stuff online, when asked for an email address - you can then go
there and get the serial number or login info and forget about all the spam
associated with it that comes later!!

Also useful if asked to give an email address by someone you dont really
want to give it to!! just make one up on the spot and the mailbox is only
created when the mail arrives into it!!

You force the person to edit a document within the minimal editing
facilities of a web browser, and limit their ability to include
attachments. If the user is partially sighted, they may be forced to edit
their email with little control over the font size they're displayed, or
with uncomfortable wrapping. Blind users often can't use reader software
properly on forms. In these cases, it is best to allow them to use their
own email client.

An alternative I have seen that is very clever is single use email
addresses. You click a link and are issued an email address that is linked
to your login site. Spammers get to send one spam then find their site is
blocked in future and they cannot request addresses. Whitelisted people
can re-use their addresses or be given a private, shared email address.
However, this system doesn't work well for some users that have trouble
grasping these concepts. That's what AOL is for. :)
