The question is, exactly what CGYWN packages need to be downloaded for
UQLX-win32. I've heard "Base and X" but the packages listed on the CGWYN
web sites don't list "base" or "X" but list a bunch that have X in them.
If anyone figures it out, let me know as I want to try UQLX-win32. I'm
now playing with UQLX for Linux.

Try to download the basic cygwin installer (which already has 'base' selected and then the 'X' package (Not development although they're useful to have). I will have the right names for you sometime this afternoon.

Speaking from memory, you need the general basic package and then the
Xwindows package. If in doubt and if you have a braoadband connecton where
you don't pay by the hour or megabyte, just download all of it.

I did try this out some months ago. Kudos to R Zidlicky for having made UQLX,
I just found it difficult to revert to what is basically a basic QL, so I
lost interest and threw everything out again.

It's definitely not 'basic' It does have TCP/IP built in and now (due to the good work of R.Z and S.G) also sound (QLSSS)
