I'll have another look but I ran a Search on the tree starting at c:\cygwin and it wasn't there. The installation seemed to proceed without a problem but perhaps I'll try again. If someone could look at their installation and let me know where the file appears that might help me identify the problem. Sorry about the top-posting.
