Piping isnt as elegant on Qdos as on Linux, but it is possible to do many (most?) of the same things, provided you have the right tools for the job. The TK2 keyword EX (and EW & ET) is the starting point. The CPY filter used in the example I gave previously doesnt do echo, but it shouldnt be too difficult to write a small filter in assembler or compiled S*Basic to do exactly what you requested.
