What is an STD? Cannot be Subscriber Trunk Dialling (8-)#
I am amazed no-one has heard of it. It is an absolutely brilliant
implementation of internet phone dialling.
It requires no special hardware other than a reasonably fast PC and a
headset. It works exceptionally well, and gives very high quality full
duplex speech, and conferencing.
It even works with dial-up. My habitual hours and hours on the phone to
Lau now cost nothing. It would have saved hundreds of pounds in the sH
development days.
I am amazed that no-one has heard of it.
