Not necessarily - can't the DOS devices be relative directories, rather than fixed??
Certainly that is how the demo sets up the WIN files
Why is it a problem that you need a small .win file - this would be copied by the installation program, and already contain all the extensions and program files - just like the demo does at the moment....
