While reading some material about Linus Torvalds and his exploits with
a QL in Finland in 1984-85, I came across a 1992 posting by Dave
Woodman (who ported various language and parsing utiltiies for the QL)
to a reference to a QL Minix. Dave seems to have been in conversation
with Linus Torvalds and wrote:
Well (and Linus you might not want to hear this given your recent
efforts), there is Minix available for QDOS.
And Linus replied:
Oh yes, I'm definitely interested...does QL-minix use QDOS for
multitaskign too?
Anyone know if there indeed was a Minix system for the QL and what
happened to it?
