I've uploaded v2.03 of Launchpad to my website to fix the most serious
of the issues reported to me over the last few days.
There are some lesser issues to be seen to, but they can wait as they
are mainly cosmetic.
Here's a summary of the fixes made today in v2.03. If registered users
are aware of any further serious bugs, please let me know as soon as
possible, so that I may try to fix them in the next version.
One person is having problems unzipping disk 1 and 2 with Unzip 5.32,
can anyone suggest what might be going wrong as I can't reproduce the
error (on his system it stops unzipping at the Hexpawn instruction
files)?
Password for the new upgrade remains the same as that already issued.

Fixed problem with re-entering Launchpad after
picking SBASIC from a desktop icon. (MK+FD)
Suppressed selection status of loose items in icon
Properties form. (MK)
WMAVER$ error in launching accessory program fixed. (MK+JP)
Minor bug in launching items from Quicklaunch menu
if already launched from desktop in demo version
(variable not local). (DJ)
Fixed bug in resizing file selection menu (one item
wrong scaling value). (DJ)
Most sub-menus now located minimum of 20 pixels
from top of desktop to prevent destructive
overwriting by clock, where the sub-menu is small
enough to allow this on a minimum size desktop. (DJ)
Fixed problem with inconsistent clock text colour
after redraw (confusion between foreground and
middleground ink colour). (JP)
Fixed problem with shutting down screen saver when
logging off between users with different settings. (JP)
Fixed minor problem loading less than full set of
high colour sprites via LP2SPRITES_dat. (DJ)
Add Program now puts icon in correct place on a
sorted desktop menu (problem in cross-calculation
of icon placement in Launchpad 2 app. window
working from a Launchpad 1 _dat file for icons
placed as loose items). (DJ)
Launchpad can now start another Launchpad more
reliably, but the second Launchpad should not do
anything to force a save of system files. In any
case, if one Launchpad updates system files, the
other copy running cannot find the changed details,
as if it was useful to run two copies in the first
place (the only valid use I can think of is for the
full version to run a demo version for testing
purposes). (JP)
A few minor typos in the manuals corrected. (DJ)
Fixed WMAVER$ error when starting Accessory programs.
