I realised that my versions of the PE had become out of date when I 
received the updated version of Launchpad 2.05 ... :-)

As the new Launchpad initially mis-behaved with the older PE versions 
called from my boot file, and it took me a little thought as to the 
cause.

The answer was to copy over the newer versions supplied with the 
Launchpad 2.05 in to the directory where I locate the PE files.

My versions now are :
Ptr_Gen V2.01
Wman V2.01
Hotkey System II V2.20

Which are not as recent as those that Per has listed above.
