It is difficult for anyone who hasn't got a copy of the ql version of pkzip/unzip to get started . Downloading it isn't much help if you can't then transfer it onto microdrive!
I even found myself once in the position of having downloaded a zipped version of ql unzip onto my pc and having moved it onto a ql floppy via qltools. I still had no way of using it as I couldn't unzip it, except by using the PC, but then I'd lose its headers! >:o I can't remember how I resolved the problem, but if memory serves, I eventually discovered that you don't actually need the headers. There are ways of manually reserving space; If you don't know how much a program requires, just reserve a healthy amount; suck and see. But Ben, my advice is to take advantage of Karsten's generous offer to do the copying for you, and avoid the minefields!.
