BTW: nothing dirctly concerned with the problem, but I have found an
interesting thing:

As I have written, I have tested my program with Archive v2.30 and that
worked. As this is a QL version, it writes the white menu border to
$20000, so not visible under QPC as long as there is no QL_SCREMU. So
far, so good.

Because the old Psion versions tend to grab most of the memory, I have
used one of those old QRAM utility programs (Grabber) to circumvent
this. Grabber adds a dummy job in front of the main jobs code, which
started first, grabbs all the memory (minus what you have typed into
Grabber for use with your program), then terminate and the main job
executes. So far, so good.

But when I then started the so prepared version of Archive 2.30, the
white menu border was visible under QPC, even I do not have set
QPC_SCREMU. Interesting, isn't it?

The version of Grabber, I've used, is one of the first ones. I have to
use it from the "Supermouse" utility disk from the SQB with mouse port,
as this was the only 720kB disk I've found. All QRAM originals are on
single side formatted disks (Qjump originals were always formatted in
this way) and QPC can't read those.

Cheers...Ralf R.
