Indeed.
... but PC lead is fine for just one drive, as long as the first
connector only is used. QL needs the DS line. Most modern HD drives
come with DS1 (flp2_) preset on the PCB, without jumpers.
Sometimes there are pcb solder pads to select.
All 720k DD drives (for Trump Card) though come with DS jumpers.
