(or navigate the site to investigate any other manufacturer)
The list includes lasers as well as ink jets. The linuxprinting site has 
advice over which printers to use, driver limitations...,  has all the 
major manufacturers databased, and links with extremely detailed 
information to all the models. So you do not have to make guesses about 
compatibility based on interfaces or cost.
