Having just updated my AVG anti-virus, it is showing up a possible virus on my PC system - the name is a long string of random characters.
This latest version has removed it, so should be OK now. If anyone's had an email from me in the last 48 hours or so showing an attachment of a few tens of kilobytes, it might be this virus, so run it past your anti virus first, just in case. Apologies for this - it seems to have arrived on my system on thursday contained in a bona fide attachment to a promotional email from a company from whom I buy ink cartridges regularly. Wonderful company for service and good prices, but their emails are html and graphics rich and take a long time to load and view on a dial up system and sometimes have 'promos' etc as attachments (good bargains, so I read them), so this one slipped through. Apologies for any problems caused - I've contacted them to let them know. I assume the filtering on this list is quite good - I don't seem to remember any virus being passed via this list in the past, but most of us send plain text to ql-users I suppose, so the problem might not exist. -- Dilwyn Jones -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
