No-one has said whether or not their Q40 works with SMSQE v3.12. I
assume that either no-one now owns or uses a Q40 or that they have
not upgraded the operating system.
I have just spent about 8 minutes using QPC2 to produce (using GWASS)
all the 5 operating systems for SMSQE v 3.12. Having done that I had
a look at the hardware initialisation for Q40/60. I saw that there
was an instruction
gcreg pcr,d0
This, of course, will not work on the Q40, because it does not have
the register PCR. Obviously I am missing something because I could
not see anywhere the code preventing this operation from being
applied to a 68040.
