Neil,

If you have SMSQ/E then it can read DOS format floppy disks without
problems.   If you have any problems with that you can get a copy of
DiscOVER from my web page that can read these floppies under any QL variant
operating system.   There is also a utility (cannot remember the name
off-hand) that allows you to read/write QDOS format disks from MSDOS side of
the interface.
