Finally the new QPC2 version is publicly available. The main change is the new emulation core, originating from George Gwilt, which is almost completely 68020 compatible. I've also spent much time on the core to enhance it and make sure it works as well as the last one, hope everybody is happy with the result. Also I've uploaded a Spanish keyboard layout courtesy of Graham Wall.
The new release has the potential for a much improved boot time especially if you use QPAC2, but to fully exploit that you will need QPAC2 v1.45. Also there is a new CTRL+C behaviour. The previous one was "pick the lowest window to top". But usually the lowest window is lowest for a reason, because you don't currently need it. The new behaviour first picks the second top-most, then the third top-most etc all the way down until you release the CTRL key, in which case the cycle starts again from the top. If that sounds too complicated, just play around with it, sometimes keeping CTRL pressed, sometimes releasing it between the CTRL+C presses and I think you'll get the idea. This feature can be disabled if required. Background I/O is now enabled by default. Get it all at http://www.kilgus.net/qpc/ --- QPC2 v3.33 3.33 New emulation core!
