I think they are still in copyright and not freely redistributable, I think by Activision but I am not sure , best check on rec.games.intfiction usenet newsgroup. There was a CD collection of interactive fiction sold to the QL community a few years ago. Unfortunately when word reached the mainstream IF Community it turned out that permission was needed for the distribution of several of the games in the collection.
