All, A few months ago, I posted a subject on this forum ' I want your software'. After many years away from the QL scene I decided it would be good to return. I bought many item from many sources as some of you already know me and know I am 100% trustworthy. I have had plenty of support and for that I thank you all.
Now, back on topic. I received a few responses from my software request but the one that caught my eye was from Phil Kett ( look back and you will see it, he posted to the group ). Well, after plenty of emails ( I still have them ) we agreed a price on not only several items, but what sounded like a very nice Aurora System ( SGC based). Being a gent, I paid up immediately and we arranged that the goods would be couriered to me. Well, it is now a few months later and apart from a very apologetic Phil about three/four . weeks ago coming up with a laughable excuse and the promise of immediate attention..... still nothing. A few of you have had dealings with Phil Kett ( although I doubt in regard to the translating of Genesis songs to Midi format !!! ) and have had no problems so I'm at a loss to know why he'd be stupid enough to commit what amounts to fraud. This is my last ditch attempt before I reclaim my money whichever way I can and a warning to you all for the future. With regard to the QL, my strong will to relearn and join the QL community has currently died a death and you can thank Phil Kett for that. Rich , I shall still send my SGC and QL to you and I hope when my problem is resolved it'll be the jump start needed to relight the enthusiasm. Ok, if you've gotten this far, I thank you.
