The uqlx code is about as clean as my kitchen. Which, unfortunately, means it's not.
Originally I wanted to spend a few minutes fixing the problems. Turns out that this was a bit on the optimistic side and once I had spend a few hours I foolishly couldn't give up on that investment and spend yet another few hours on it, until it finally worked. Good thing I'm currently sick and home alone. Anyway, you can do worse than try to compile the version at http://www.kilgus.net/soft/uqlx-gcc4.1.tar.bz2 It works on my Gentoo Linux (2.6.18, glibc 2.4) system using GCC4.1.1. It will still spew out myriads of warnings, but then I don't care enough to clean up the code. Standard disclaimer: this does explicitly not mean that I am the new contact person for uqlx support. Actually I don't want to spend another minute on that code. I just did it because I'm an idiot who doesn't spend his time the way he should do. Oh, well, too late now. Anyway, hope all this helps someone. Cheers, Marcel _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
