It would be a tad slow, but probably best if Neil uses:

TK2_EXT (on both QLs)
NET 1 (on QL A - the one with the working microdrives)
NET 2 (on QL B - the one with the working GC+Disk Drives)

On QL A:
FSERVE
put microdrive in mdv1 then:
FORMAT ram1_mdv1

On QL B
put a blank disk in flp1 then:
NFS_USE cart,n1_ram1_
WCOPY cart1_ TO flp1_

You may wish to change the destination device to use sub-directories, so  
that you can store several microdrives on the same disk.
