Guys,

The Internet is rather wonderful, It's allowed me to track down that LP
from the 70's, it's
allowed me to re-discover the QL, I've even got the bits to make a
proper Arcade machine.
Even my father, who knows practically nothing about computers, earns
part of his income
via the Web ( or ebay to be precise ).

The other day, I enquired and was kindly given the full version of
ZM/hT by Davide Santachiara
and whilst I haven't a clue as to some of the menu options and what
they do, I've seen enough
to realise what a professional piece of software it is, and with a few
additional features would be
brilliant ( "peg to 100% spectrum speed" for one ! )

A comment Davide made to me has suddenly hit home. Basically he was
pleased that someone
was still having fun with his product after some 10 years or more....
but wait a minute, the spectrum
scene is still strong so why on earth isn't ZM/ht etc still
commercially available and being advertised on
Auction sites like Ebay. I'm certain it would sell and consequently
would spur others to develop for the QL
which would boister the QL community. The recent topic re " the next QL
development" may well become
a reality.

btw, as a side question. I have plenty of _Z80 images that ZM/hT
expects but i have even more .SNA's.
Is anyone aware of a .SNA to _Z80 convertors. Just for fun i renamed
.sna to Z80_rom and whilst ZM/ht
saw the Z80 and even showed initial splash screens, it crashes.

Also, is anyone in possession of the ZM/hT manual. Id like to know what
all the options actually do. :-)

Cheers
Neil
