I have got 3 different QLs and never obtained a correct display with the
composite output signal from the QL.

I have tried also 2 different video convertors (composite to VGA) and the result
was very horrible while this convertors give a correct result with games
consoles like XBOX et PS2.

So, i would say that this signal is definitively bad and cannot be used in a
regular manner. I can not say if this is the 1377 fault. One trick can do it a
little better (but it is not miraculous) is to put a 75 ohms resistor in the A/V
plug (I remember that output from the 1377 must be loaded by 150 Ohms and
the QL is missing the 75 ohms - the other 75 ohms one is inside the monitor).
