Now, I'm actually quite impressed with this, why isn't there a QL varient !!!!!?
actually, i know the answer but goodness, what a boost for the QL this would be
and yes, along with the SDGC talked about a while back.

Tony, I know nothing about USBWiz although i guess it's a similar device to the
above with a little extra. Is there any information floating around for this?

Cheers

Neil
p.s. I'm still after old software ( back on topic ! )

I now have two USBwiz cards.
It was disappointing to find that the serial interface is not RS232C,
which means an addon. I will use a superHermes board for prototyping
RS232C. It will need an addon board with chip/4 caps probably.
A very odd omission on their part. Speed will be up to 230,400 with
superHermes.

The system looks promising. It supports SD (and MMC) as well as many
basic USB devices (printers, modems, mobiles, mice, joysticks, keyboards
and others). It also supports other USB storage like USB hard
drives/card readers and thumb flash.

The storage device support is a mite basic. It supports FAT8/16/32 only
and 8.3 filenames (damn DOS!) and directories. It also has a real time
clock - with an addon battery.
