Was it *really* protected as such?  I have never thought of ".pro" as
such.  Surely it was simply coded to reduce size. Maybe someone knows
how to decode. Surely also someone has the runtime version.  I haven't a
clue where mine is now.

I used the run-time hooks to add assembler based archive functions to
beep and input from the serial ports.   This was for the Telepen
barcoder I sold, and which Dilwyn bought I think.
