I've just tried mixing displays in QemuLator: selecting MODE 8 in SuperBasic and then starting The Editor, which naturally runs in MODE 4. Everything worked OK. I'm using Minerva with WMAN 1.53 and PTR_GEN 1.71. I have tried later versions of the PE, but they were all disasters!
