Does anyone know how to turn off the damn fast find indexing service in Windows?
I know it can be selected during Windows installation, but I can't find the control for it and I'm obviously not entering the right term into Help as that gives nothing of any use. There's so much hard disk activity all the time that QPC2 and even mouse and keyboard slow down to a crawl.
