The only QL use would be complete 68k emulation in software. The V3 core 
is pretty useless if you want to execute QL code natively. Keep in mind V3 
is far worse than V4. And even V4 still has "misbehaving" instructions 
which can not be indentified as non-68k because they won't trigger an 
exception. Attempts to overcome this by software (there have been some 
ideas from the Atari / Amiga corner) never resulted in something useful.

Just to save you time and money: All ideas to just buy an existing 
Coldfire board and get QL software run natively are bound to fail.
