The headings within Proforma_CFG are:

                memory options
                search path for fonts
                load drivers
                configure drivers
                set default drivers
                load resident fonts
list of fonts which can be used
The obvious heading is 'configure drivers' but the items in there are:

                d
                DEFAULT-DEVICE
                PRINTABLE-AREA-SIZE
                PRINTABLE-AREA-ORIGIN
none of which look likely.

Where to from here, please?

It looks like no printer drivers are set at all in your _cfg file!
They should appear under the "load drivers" heading.
When you click "configure PROforma" in the PWS "Utitlities" button, a new menu appears. From there you can pick "add drivers". Then "configure printer driver" to fill in the options for the one you need. This will add values to the above items for each printer you configure.

As a result the _cfg may look like this example:
  ...
  ; load drivers
  D QVME_pfd
  ...
  D DeskJet500_pfd
  ...
  (more driver files)

  ; configure drivers
  d HP Deskjet 500 300 dpi
  DEFAULT-DEVICE pard
  PRINTABLE-AREA-SIZE 575.433060 799.370041
  PRINTABLE-AREA-ORIGIN 11.338547 -25.511780
  ...
(these 4 lines will be repeated for each driver)

  ;set default drivers
  d HP Deskjet 500 300 dpi

It's been some time since I did this myself. I remember that I needed to make some test prints before settling on the correct values, don't worry they are generated by the Config program which also has the test print option IIRC.
Keep your printer manual at hand for the size limitations.

Good luck
Bob
