Those of you following (or skipping over) my assembly articles in QL Toady will know that I'm deep in the bowels of Pointer programming and about to
start on the WMAN vectors very soon.

One thing I'm aware of is that my documentation is quite out of date - I
have the QPTR toolkit docs only and as an example, the details of the
Pointer Record and event vectors are quite sparse - the last article being a case in point, I've had corrections and updates sent to me by George on
the matter.

I use no other documentation than Jochen's QPTR for PE information. I have had one update which included information about job events and the additional WM.RPTRT which returns on timeout and job events. This also included the fact that IOP.RPTR can be asked to return if the pointer hits the edge of the screen.

Using window definitions, window working definitions and the status area are made easier with the set of keys supplied with QPTR. It is no longer necessary to use the QPTR keys since the most recent versions are to be found in the "key" section of the SMSQE source on Wolfgang Lenerz' site. These are;

        keys_wdef
        keys_wwork
        keys_wstatus

The file

        keys_wman

lists the vector values needed for WMAN.
