I received the following help request from a Windows Vista users who couldn't get qlayt.exe and qltoolsq.exe from the QLAY and QL2K packages to work under Windows Vista. Anyone have experience or advice on how to work around these problems under Vista? For example, are there any compatibility options that can be set for older DOS programs like these, so that he can use them to transfer files in and out of QL2K? (I only have XP, so don't know what Vista can or can't do). -- Dilwyn Jones
> Tried QLTOOLS and QLAYT, it seems VISTA don't want to know. On using the cmd > prompt both gave > the error message "not recognised as an internal or external command, > operable program or batch file." > So, QLAY/QL2K would appear useless under Vista .. _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
