A friend of mine had his QL stored away for more than a decade in a "bad" (wet) place (wet). The QL is working but "looks" very bad (slimy and rusty). Outside cleaning was easy, also was blowing the dust away internally. The first MDV cartridges we've tried to load were "destroyed" by this QL. So, what is Best practice to clean and restore a MDV-Drive (Transport-Rubber, Tape-Head)? Thanks for any support. Best regards, Urs P.S.
