I have spent the afternoon rescuing some more software for the Sinclair QL.
Alas the following titles are all corrupt and will not load - does
anyone have working copies (disk ones are better than microdrive!):
Viewpoint by Rubicon (3D computer aided design program)
Concept 3D by Tesseract Software (microdrive is labelled Curry Computer
so not sure what the relationship was here). Another 3D CAD program
QL Gardener by Gordian Computing Services
CAD PAK by Datalink Systems
CAD PAK must have been one of the most rebadged drawing packages for the
QL - it was originally a BASIC program, M-Paint released by Medic
Datasystems. Sandy released a compiled version for use with their
SuperQ Mouse (using the pointer environment for control) which I have
got working here... Finally, a year later, it was re-released as a
version for use with the cursor keys - the pointer environment was gone,
but the publisher was now Datalink Systems.
I may also be able to re-release QL Hopper and Cuthbert in Space, as the
rights belong to Talent+ - alas both have slight errors in the loading
screens... I have the other files, just need to sort out the copy
protection when I get chance
