He ran (runs?) a chain of kitchen shops and used networked QLs. I suspect he got TT to cure many bugs in the network code!

I sold him the last 12 of the Telepen barcoders I sold in the 80s. I used Archive runtime module to implement ser1 input (and a beep) so that barcodes could be directly input by archive. The runtime module allowed use of machine code. Don't ask me how it hooked in - it is so long ago that I have forgotten! A really great utility though.

I wonder if he ever used them on the sales floor - I  suspect not.
