I know former QUanta treasurer Mike Jackson (he lives somewhere in
Lancashire) updated some of Quest's QL software (in particular the
accounts package) in the late 80s/early 90s. Don't know any more than
that.
RE Jackson - Forth 79
Check if same as any of the Forth packages on my website - there is a
Forth79 package by a Mr Jackson there.

I guess some of it may now be in the public domain?
Check against the games page on my site, or on Games CD, there are
some old commercial ones since made PD on there (too much on my plate
at the moment!). You might get some info from the 'small ads' in early
QL mags.
I just wondered if this message ever made it to the list - as all I
seem
to be receiving of late is discussions about a windows based
notebook

Sorry about that. It was meant to be in a QL context (makes me an
ideal mobile QL!) but it sort of got out of control :o)
(At least it proved the list was still working!)
