Yes, that is where I had to put the jumper links, but if opened up, more
broke, so I put the ribbon cable on. There was also a problem where the
fierce connector stripped the conducting strip. The connectors are made
to take a board edge connector, so should be able to take the ribbon,
and still pick up the new membrane or an old one. I am sure that I did
a sketch etc, but it is so long ago that I don't know if I could find
it. I've not got an example, except cased up, to see exactly how I did it.
