Sadly, the service closed for us at 2pm for the day, so I'll have
to
wait until tomorrow now to get my QL Today.

Those who get the electronic Quanta mag have a big advantage in
this
weather!

Our normal delivery (first and only) is between 13,30 to 1400, that
is when the weather is good.

Probably getting a delivery on average about once every four days
for the last month, no alternative arrangements made if they can't
get to me then I can't get to the nearest village,
That's where we are lucky - Bethesda's main street is flat and clear
as it's the main A5 across N Wales (well, apart from all the abandoned
cars reducing it to single track road, which people don't try to move
because they can't get onto the side roads).

Pity, this idea of a mail collection centre within walking range was
good, but as usual fell down because they never told people in the
side roads!

well I don't know that they try that hard as we've struggled into
Berwick on two occasions but still got home to find no post?
Health and safety obviously plays a part for postmen as much as anyone
else. Of that cluster of red vans I saw earlier today, two had big
dents in their sides, so they'd probably had an "experience" in the
snow.

Sorry if his reads funny I'm getting spurious line feeds for some
reason
Seems OK on receipt :-)

To get back on subject, I find retirement not quite the financial
challenge I feared and hope to contact Jochen to resubscribe QLToday
soon.
I'm sure Jochen will be glad to hear that. Does retirement mean more
QL time for you?

(There, back on topic, and changed the Subject for Ralf!)
