At least it _was_. Now that so much time has been spent toward a Minerva based solution with other drivers, SMSQ/E would probably not save me work anymore. Times have changed. A decade ago, an open source SMSQ/E would have allowed me to hit the market with my 266 MHz "high end" machine and vastly outperform all emulators. Today, these opportunities for "high end" QL hardware are lost forever. A major QL hardware today would serve "retro computing" rather than going for maximum speed and maximum features.
