I know they redesigned the port area for the serial ports and joystick ports, but I wonder if this is a hardware difference, or a software difference, since the hardware can obviously handle both formats... I wonder if there are any other differences between the boards... I'll take this one out and post some high resolution pics of it so people can compare.
