If we had 12 digits, we'd probably have 12 fingers as well.
That's 20% faster typing we had 20% more software for the QL
I only use at most four fingers for typing - two on each hand. An extra two
would get even more in the way.
As many as that - very professional. I use two fingers and one thumb.
How many people actually learn touch typing these days?
Ben, my son. Many will remember him as a baby at QL shows. Well he has
moved on from that a little and is about to graduate. He is one of the
core programmers of the new Guardian Ipad newspaper app - "We have done
it properly unlike the others". Stuart Honeyball, as a touch typist,
had completely blank keyboard. It was surprisingly easy for letters
and numbers, but the rest were impossible!
